BIO

Hana Connor (b. 1980) is a freelance photographer born and based in Prague. She completed her bachelor’s degree in photography from the Art University in Perth, Australia, where she was awarded the Best Portfolio of the year and still continues on her master’s degree at Institute of Creative Photography, Silesian University in Opava. Her work have been exhibited all around Europe and published in various magazines. Since 2016 her main focus is on the essential problems of today’s Bangladesh and with her partner Filip Jandourek has been awarded the first price in Czech Press Photo 2017. The aim of the photographs is to point out human influence on the environment and to show the life of migrants in the most polluted places in the world.
